I’ve been working in manufacturing since 2018, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed.

There’s something satisfying about working through a problem on the shop floor and finding a way to make a job run better.

I work with machine shops and fabricators across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, helping improve processes, troubleshoot CNC setups, reduce cycle times, and quote new jobs. I take a hands-on approach, working directly with operators to find practical solutions that improve efficiency without adding unnecessary costs or complexity.

I’m currently finishing my Master’s at Northern Illinois University, continuing to build on my experience and knowledge in manufacturing engineering.

How I approach the work

  1. Listen to the operators first

Start right at the machine with the people running the parts. You learn a lot more talking to operators than staring at a CAD model.

  2. Look at real numbers before changing anything

Check actual cycle times, scrap rates, and setup times before changing anything. No guesswork.

  3. Keep solutions realistic for your shop

Simple setups, tooling, and fixtures that your team can comfortably run, inspect, and maintain day in and day out.

  4. Clean handoffs

Clear setup sheets and honest notes so the job keeps running smoothly long after I leave.
